You know when you get a gift for a friend and then you get kinda jealous of it, and for a moment you consider buying another or just keeping it for yourself? That’s what’s happening with this new Market Tote from Patch NYC. I don’t want to part with it. But I will!
If you’re not familiar with the Patch NYC creators, they’re on freakin’ fire this year. They were one of five independent retailers in the country selected for the Shops at Target collection (still in effect through Oct. 20), debuted a home collection with West Elm, and recently had their products featured on the cover of Elle Decor UK and inside Italian Vogue.
The limited-edition new Market Totes features silkscreened prints of co-owner Don Carney’s original sketches. The guys pulled inspiration from one of their favorite vintage bags, with the equestrian themes inspired by vintage Hermès scarves. They’re beautiful, super sturdy, and spacious. You can’t tell from the photo, but I have an entire blanket stuffed inside it. They’re perfect for picnicking, apple picking, grocery shopping, weekend tripping, even trick-or-treating!

I’ve loved Patch NYC for a while now – I have a few of their amazing products and even bought an owl candle from their Target shop! Just Liked Spreedia on FB as well. Yay!
A few other thoughts from me regarding horses:
- It is a personal fantasy of mine to one day have a Manor with horses and English Mastiffs frolicking about together in my massive green lawn
- I bet on the winning horse for this year’s Kentucky Derby (I’ll Have Another)… and please don’t remind me of the scandal with the trainer was using steroids on the poor thing. :’(
- I was once stuck in a hotel for 2.5 days because of awful weather and the only movie they were showing on their free movie channel was “War Horse”

I absolutely love this tote. I adore Patch NYC (I bought a bunch of stuff from their Target line for my house!). And most of all I love horses because when I was little, my grandpa used to take me to the track at Saratoga to watch the horses race.

This is too gorgeous! Their Target collaboration introduced me to Patch NYC this year and I’m smitten (totally coveting that adorable woodpecker candle holder they did). I found your giveaway through your Facebook ad and the horse totally made me come over and stick my name in the proverbial hat . My bonus-point-less poetic waxing on horses would be to say that I rode horses for about eight years, worked as a groom for five, and owned two Half Arabians who still have a piece of my heart. (And I wasn’t even jealous that they got new shoes more often than I did. True horsey love.)
